Established by Robert Dobson in 1979 (with 14 years previous experience in the trade at that point) and now run alongside his son, Robert Dobson Floors supply, sand, seal and fit wooden flooring across County Durham and North of England.

Our work splits across homeowners, businesses and public services. We’re often called in to clean up and reseal an old wooden floor during household decoration, and work with a lot of building contractors creating new floors. Some of our oldest clients are schools and pubs who regularly need their hard wearing wooden floors sanded and varnished to bring them back to glowing life after a year of wear, tear and spillages!
